Cavo Ventus Wedding in Santorini, Greece

Well, it’s been a real while since I posted anything on my website and that’s because 2022 has been an incredible year - record breaking - in terms of travel and quantity of weddings. In fact, 2022 hit all wedding vendors hard! I am still playing catch up, but there is so so so much I want to share from this year. Hopefully, I can do so before my 2023 season really begins in May (ps. 2023 is sold out, too). All this to say, stay tuned!

I’m kicking off my new set of blog posts from my 2022 weddings with my first official destination wedding in Santorini, Greece.

Words can not express how thrilled I was to be a part of Laurie & Anthony’s wedding (Montrealers) and to work alongside Jennifer from Events by Cece (you can see another wedding we worked on together here).

There are too many moments for me to articulate here, and there’s no point in me even trying to use words to describe how beautiful the island(s) are, how good the food was, and how the light never ceased to inspire me.

Some highlights for me personally were scouting the island with Jennifer; getting to swim in the Aegean sea with my 16yo daughter; the dancing at Laurie & Anthony’s wedding (and the views) and the moment when Laurie fainted from the heat… and looked so beautiful when she did it, I told her that I was sad I hadn’t taken a photo.
